Description

Lavendula angustfolia (organic lavender hydrosol) is relaxing and balancing. It is also soothing to the skin, a good choice for all skin types. It also is a nice coolant for minor burns and rashes. A nice addition to clay masks.

Hydrosols are also known as floral waters or distillates. They are produced from distilling plant materials. Hydrosols have similar properties to essential oils but are less concentrated. Hydrosols are usually a by-product of essential oil production, but we use hydrosols that are steamed distilled in small batches strictly to produce hydrosols. They contain the essence of the plant, much like an essential oil, but in a much milder concentration., making it suitable for many applications.
